It is with sincere regret that we advise of the passing of a Stalwart of Munro College and Jamaica by extension, Munronian Troy Caine “Class 67”.
Munronian Troy Caine was among the first students receiving entry for a high school education in Jamaica when the government introduced free education in Jamaica.
He was born in Junction, St. Elizabeth and so entered Munro College.
Troy immediately stood out as a gifted artist, sitting at his desk during breaks and drawing portraits of Principal Roper and Staff.
He was soon to become a regular contributor to the yearly schoolbook “The Munronian” with his self-taught calligraphy.
The Executive of the MCOBA expresses sincere condolences to the family of Munronian Troy Caine.
